About the Swedish Physician Referral Service

Swedish Health Services, in furtherance of its charitable mission, has made this Online Referral Service available to improve access to quality care and enhance relationships between physicians and patients in the Puget Sound region. Users of this online Service should be aware of the following:

1. Active members in good standing of the Swedish medical staff may participate in the Service. Practitioners who lose their active status are ineligible to participate in the Service.
   
   
2. The Service is offered by Swedish Medical Center as a free community service. Physicians participating in the Service have not paid Swedish to participate in the Service.
   
   
3. Participating Physicians are listed by clinical specialty. Users may review the biographical and other information provided for each physician and may contact any physician listed on the Service to arrange an appointment. Swedish is not involved in selecting or recommending specific physicians to users of the Service. Users are also encouraged to consult with their individual health plans to determine any restrictions regarding insurance coverage for services offered by participating physicians.

The Service is offered solely as a community information resource. Swedish shall not be responsible for, and assumes no liability for, any negligent or willful acts or omissions of any physician or other practitioner participating in the Service.
